The North Ayrshire coast is an excellent location for photography. From Irvine harbour and old town to its various beaches, harbours, piers, castles, and even a dragon, the North Ayrshire coast has lots to offer landscape photographers.
For wildlife and nature photographers, North Ayrshire's beaches, harbours, dunes, river estuaries, mudflats, and heathland all play host to a vast variety of flora and fauna from butterflies to birds of prey, poppies to palm trees, and starfish to seals.
Whatever your photography genre, through practical exercises and demonstrations you will learn various tricks and techniques used by professional photographers to obtain the best photographs possible in the often challenging conditions found at the coast.
