Digital cameras can appear complicated contraptions at first glance with all their dials and buttons, white balance, shutter speed, ISO, aperture - and what the heck is a histogram anyway?!? Whether you're completely new to photography or want to elevate your photography to the next level and discover the world beyond your camera's auto mode, this is the workshop for you!
Books, camera manuals, and the internet are all great resources to learn from but what could be better than having a seasoned photographer by your side as your own personal tutor while using and learning about your own camera and equipment? You'll be shown everything you need to know to get going with practical exercises and demonstrations and it doesn't end there - you'll also receive ongoing support via email for 12 months, tailored advice and practical assigments to ensure all your questions are answered, and a 25% discount on refresher or next level tuition.
The Photography 101 workshop is run on weekdays between 10am and 2pm with a break for lunch and as many tea/coffee breaks as you like (tea/coffee and lunch not provided). No deposit is required but payment must be made in full at the start of the workshop. In the event of inclement weather, workshops may be postponed or the location changed by mutual agreement. Participants must supply their own cameras and lenses and ensure they are in good working order with sufficient battery power for the duration of the workshop.
 1-to-1 workshop £40
small groups (maximum 4) £30 per person
